What the Frog!  mug was created from a hand rolled slab of brownstone clay. While in the slab form the words, pine trees, cattails, and the frog were embedded into the clay. The mountains, pond and rocks were  carved into the clay then shaped into a mug. The handle is hand pulled with a button thumb rest. Once bisque fired the mug was hand painted with many underglazes and glazes. Inside the mug on the bottom are two dragonflies. The inside of the mug was layered with a few glazes - greens, blues, and reds. 20 oz mug
