This is a slab created mug which means I hand rolled the clay into a slab then cut out the wall of the mug. Then I designed the wall with a roller print and stamps to embed them into the clay. After drying to leather hardness I pulled the handle and created the thumb button. Once bisque fired I hand paint all the otter panels with the trout. Around the panels and inside the mug I painted it with a Mayco"s Passion Flower glaze with a flux on the rim. Five p
