Slab built mug is glazed with a smokey merlot glaze layered with a blue. The raven is glazed with four different glazes. Background scrubbed with a black underglaze.  Mug is microwave and dishwasher safe.  
 
This is a slab created mug which means I hand rolled the clay into a slab then cut out the wall of the mug. Then I designed the wall with a roller print and stamps to embed them into the clay. After drying to leather hardness I pulled the handle and created the thumb button
