Slab created mug that a branch from the spruce that rubs against my studio was rolled into the clay before it was formed into a mug. Once the mug is created I decide where I want to carve pinecones into the mug. Once bisque fired I scrub the outside of the mug with a deep forest green underglaze. After the scrubbing I hand painted the pinecones. The rim and inside the mug is layered with glazes.  Mug is microwave and dishwasher safe.
