Northern Lights Black Bear  free style slab bowl . The bottom of the bowl has nine grizzly bears carved into the bowl along with bear tracks. All were hand painted with underglazes. Inside the bowl a large black bear carved into it, then painted with five different glazes. The layering of the glazes creates the  northern lights. Around the rim are bear tracks which are embedded into the clay and painted with underglazes then a clear glaze.
