Slab created  20 oz mug.  While the clay was still a slab I rolled pine trees into the clay. Then created the horses and mountains. After bisque fired the mug was hand painted, so no two are alike.  The paints were painted with underglazes. The sky is an indigo blue and inside the mug and handle I layered the areas with five glazes to get the illusion of the northern lights.  Mug is microwave and dishwasher safe.
