This 8 inch plate depicts a field sketch I did of Grizzly 399 and her four coys (cub of the year) at Jackson Lake in May of 2020. The sketch is carved into the clay after I hand rolled it.  It was finished with an underglaze rub and hand painted with a clear glaze. The rim has two glazes painted on it creating a dark blue. 
Plate is food, microwave, and dishwasher safe.
