The mug was created by hand rolling stoneware clay with an antique rolling pin. Then I pressed honey combs  and five honeybees into the clay. At that point I shaped the clay into a mug. The handle is hand pulled. The mug has been hand-painted and scrubbed with food safe glazes. Inside the mug there is one honeybee. The mug can be microwaved and washed in a dish washer.
