This tray that measures 10.5 inches x 5 inches depicts grizzly 399 and her four cubs of the year at Pilgrim Creek in Grand Teton National Park. The tray was created by hand rolling a slab of clay and forming the shape I don’t use straight lines due to you don’t find them in nature. The bears are hand carved into the clay, and finished with a underglaze rub and hand painted clear glaze. The rim has two glazes painted on it. In May during my visit I was lucky enough of get to watch 399 and her little cubs, plus her 14 year old daughter 610 and her yearlings. The tray is food, microwave, and dishwasher safe.
